As a keen camera collector I am also a member of the Photographic Collectors Club of Great Britain. Anyone interested in camera collecting and photographica and it's history should consider joining this great club.

The PCCGB is an international organisation with a membership of collectors, enthusiasts, institutions and dealers numbering over 1600 worldwide. They all share a love of photographic history, either personally or professionally. Collecting and studying cameras is the dominant activity of most members.

The National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, Bradford is the UK's premier photographic museum. Part of the National Museum of Science and Industry. The Science Museum has its own site including part of its optics and cinematography collections.
The Dutch Camera Collectors Club.
The Exakta Circle is for collectors and users of Exakta and Exa cameras.

The Bill Douglas Centre for the Study of Popular Culture This new Centre covers pre-cinema, the magic lantern and popular culture in all it's forms. This web site gives a good tour of the resources on offer.
Nineteenth century camera website Rob Niederman's site looks at traditional wood cameras from the nineteenth century.
