Welcome
to the Salt Pan. Our name was inspired by the fascinating limestone
saltpans one finds along the shores of mediterranean islands of Gozo
and Malta. A source of continued re-generation of salt deposits
which are harvested, cleaned, packed and sold, the tradition spans
many centuries and indeed thousands of years, and is in regular use
today. A combination of natural and man made pans and the local weather
is all it takes making for an eco-friendly harvest which is self-perpetuating
- what goes around comes around.
