Discovering your family roots is endlessly fascinating. Visiting fairs and sales it is always saddening to see albums which have been broken up and stripped of their photos ensuring that another family history is lost forever. Although a collectors of vintage albums and photos myself I would find it hard to break an item up in this way without good reason.
